A 40-year-old man was arrested on the Spanish island of Mallorca for deliberately spreading the corona virus, which infected colleagues and subsequently passed the virus on to others.

According to Spanish police, the man is suspected of deliberately injuring 22 people, including three babies. The police found the man after a virus outbreak in Manacor on the tourist island. It turned out that despite symptoms, the suspect just went to work and to the gym, even though he had a fever of more than 40 degrees and sneezed. His boss and colleagues told him to go home and get tested, but he just kept on working. Even after his corona test, he did not wait for the results at home, but just went to work and to the gym the next day.
According to police, the man ignored all advice and challenged his colleagues by pulling down his mouth mask, coughing and harassing them, saying, “I’m going to infect you all with the coronavirus.”
The suspect is charged with directly lighting eight people at work and in the gym and indirectly infecting fourteen. Nobody had to be hospitalized.
