Man arrested in Hengelo for threatening and spitting on police | Inland

At the control room of the police at the beginning of the evening a report was received on Thursday about a man who would harass people, insult people and destroy things. An alarmed motorcycle officer then rushed to the Prinses Beatrixstraat. Suddenly a man emerged from the bushes with a large bread knife in his hand. The man ran over to the motorcycle cop and yelled menacing language. The motorcycle officer then warned some colleagues.

The officers recognized the man as a resident of Enschede who was more often involved in incidents. They stopped him. During the ride in a police car to the detention center in Borne, the man became aggressive again. He would have kicked a cop and spat on her colleagues. The man is locked up. Officers report insults, threats and aggravated assault against the man.
