Kalamasery: The police arrested a young man who entered the women’s washroom and installed a hidden camera and recorded the video. The incident took place in the business center of Edappally. MA Abhimanyu (23) was arrested at Karuvallur Mullezhipara house near Kannur.
The police found that Abhimanyu entered the women’s washroom wearing a veil and recorded the video using his mobile phone. Abhimanyu, who works in an IT firm, is a B.Tech robotics engineering graduate with a rank, police said.
The incident took place on Tuesday night at 9 o’clock. When Abhimanyu arrived at the mall, he used to put on the purdah he was carrying in the empty space and then enter the women’s washroom. After hiding the phone card in his hand inside the board box, he made a small hole in it and attached it to the toilet door. After that Abhimanyu came out from there and saw Abhimanyu standing in front of the main door and the security personnel of the mall informed the police.
