A man with the initials AR (51) killed by fellow prisoners at the Depok Metropolitan Police. AR is a suspect in the rape of his own biological child.
Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Metro Depok Police AKP Nirwan Pohan explained that AR was initially arrested for the sexual abuse of his own biological child. Furthermore, AR was detained by the police on Wednesday (5/7/2023).
“The victim is AR aged 51 years, while this incident occurred in the detention room, the victim had fainted,” Nirwan told reporters at the Depok Metro Police Headquarters, Jalan Raya Margonda, Depok, Monday (10/7).
When the victim faints, the detainee then reports to the prison guard. Officers then examined the victim and then took him to the hospital.
“Then the prison guard checked and at that time was taken to Bhayangkara Hospital, Kelapa Dua, Depok. After an examination by the doctor, the victim was declared dead,” he explained.
The victim’s body was then taken to Kramat Jati Hospital, East Jakarta, for an autopsy. While the Depok Metro Police decided 8 detainees as suspects in the beating.
The eight suspects are MD, EAN, FA, AN, AN, AN, MN, and FNA. Currently, the eight suspects are being investigated by the police.
