“Man arrested for murder of homeless person in Varna district”

Kloshar was arrested in connection with the murder of a homeless man in the Varna district “Asparuhovo” at the beginning of the week. According to initial information, the man strangled the victim.

The homeless man’s body was found earlier this week on “Rozova Dolina” street in “Asparuhovo”.

On May 2, around noon, the two were walking along a street in the “Asparuhovo” district of Varna. A conflict arose between them and the two had a fight. Having managed to knock his opponent to the ground, the man him pressed for some time in the neck and chest area. As a result, the victim died of suffocation.

At the request of the District Prosecutor’s Officethe court imposed a remand order “detention” for a 35-year-old man from Varna, who is brought to criminal responsibility for the murder, reported the press service of the state prosecution in the seaside city.

The press service of the prosecutor’s office specified that they do not have information on whether the two men consumed alcohol on the day of the accident.
The decision is subject to appeal before the Court of Appeals in the city.
