Bengaluru: A man from Odisha has been arrested for luring minor boys and sexually assaulting them at knife point and filming them. Prabhanjan (47), a native of Odisha, was arrested. The accused is a chef at a prominent hotel in Hubli.
He became friends with two boys. Later, they were lured to the house where he lives and with sweets and money. After this, he was threatened with a knife and tortured unnaturally. It was filmed with the help of another boy. The accused continued the torture by pointing out the future consequences if he found out.
The incident came to light when the behavior of the children changed. With this, the parents of the boys complained to the Old Hubli police station. When the incident came to light, the locals beat up the accused before the police arrived. Sections under the POCSO Act were also charged against the accused.
