The New York police arrested a man this Saturday who arrived at the door of singer Taylor Swift’s apartment in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan, according to the New York Post.
The police told the American newspaper that they received a call around 1:00 pm about a man with erratic behavior on the street where the building is located in Tribeca.
Upon arrival, the police officers spoke with the man and after a few minutes, they handcuffed him, without him showing any resistance.
The police did not indicate whether it was the award-winning artist’s apartment, but a person who witnessed what happened assured the newspaper that the man arrived at the door of the ‘You Belong With Me’ singer’s residence.
“I saw him for the first time around one in the afternoon, he approached Taylor’s door. I’m not sure if he knocked on the door or the doorbell,” the witness told the New York Post.
The New York newspaper obtained photos of the police intervention with the man, tall, white, with a beard and scruffy brown hair, who was wearing winter clothing.
Swift is these days in New York where she is working in a studio on her new music, before continuing with her successful tour, but it is unknown if she was at home at the time of the incident, according to the newspaper.
