Man arrested after attempted robbery in Zurich city
A man tried to rob a grocery store in Brüttisellen on Thursday: After he had fled without taking anything, a patrol from the Zurich city police was able to arrest him shortly afterwards.
The robber entered the store just before 1 p.m., the cantonal police said on Friday. He threatened an employee with a stabbing weapon and demanded cash from her – but then fled without any money.
The alleged perpetrator, whom the police were able to arrest after around an hour, is a 36-year-old Swiss, according to the announcement. (sda)
