A 41-year-old man is said to have threatened his wife and then police officers with knives. Before arresting the man, the officers drew their weapons.
Nuremberg – A 41-year-old man is said to have threatened his wife and two police officers in Nuremberg with knives – and was subsequently arrested. His 35-year-old wife filed a complaint after the argument on Monday evening (September 2), police said. The suspect was no longer at home at the time. However, the officers confiscated a switchblade and cocaine.
Man attacks police with kitchen knife – officers injured
The officers came again that night to impose a restraining order. However, the 41-year-old was aggressive and threatened the officers with a kitchen knife, it was said. After they drew their pistols, the man dropped his weapon but continued to approach them. He was then “violently arrested”. The officers and the man suffered minor injuries, it was said.
