The case of dead bodies in sacks in Gang Family, Kota Bandung, West Java (West Java), found a bright spot. The perpetrator Ali Nurdin (52) allegedly killed his wife, Ema Sumarna (43), because the victim refused to reconcile because the perpetrator was still poor.
Reported detikjabar, Kapolrestabes Bandung Kombes Budi Sartono said, before killing the victim on Monday (5/6), the suspect was trying to persuade Ema to cancel her intention to divorce. However, the victim refused and insisted on ending her relationship with the suspect.
“The person concerned killed his own wife because he felt hurt because the suspect wanted to ask for a reconciliation but the victim didn’t want to,” said Budi when releasing the case at the Bandung Polrestabes, Monday (12/6/2023).
The suspect then asked for Rp. 27 million from the victim. The police said the suspect considered the money as payment for his services, which had once worked to build the victim’s rented house.
However, the victim again refused the request. This is where the victim’s statement came out that she would not reconcile with the suspect because her husband is poor.
“The victim said that he did not want to reconcile if the perpetrator was still poor. When he was refused reconciliation and handed over the money, the suspect immediately hit the victim’s face and crushed the victim’s chest using his knee, and finally tied the victim’s neck using a sarong until he died,” he said.
