Man Allegedly Carrying Bomb Still Tied at the Goalpost, Armed Police Standby

A man caused a stir in the Leuwimunding Square, Majalengka, West Java, for allegedly carrying bom. The police immediately rushed to sterilize the location.

Reported detikJabar, there are six police officers on duty at the location, at 17.00 WIB, Monday (23/5/2022). Police said the man was arrested when he was about to visit a bank in the Leuwimunding area.

While at the bank, the man was arrested by security officers. The man was tied up.

“The man was arrested by a bank security guard for allegedly carrying a bomb. He is the same as the security guard (tied to the goalpost),” said Head of Subsi Public Relations of Majalengka Police Public Relations Aiptu Riyana when confirmed.

The details of the man’s identity and arrest are not yet known. Police are still investigating the man.

Currently armed police are seen on guard at the location. Not only that, the Leuwimunding Square area has a police line installed, because the man suspected of carrying the bomb has become a spectacle for local residents.
