In Britain, a man accused his wife of cheating thanks to a family DNA test bought by two of his children.
The man’s life was shattered when his 17-year-old twin children, a boy and a girl, received their test results. It turned out that he is not their biological father, clarifies Glasnews.bg.
“My wife Kelly and I have known each other for over 20 years and been married for 18 years. We have 17 year old twins and I found out they weren’t mine two days ago. We fell in love, we got married. Months after we got married, we had a big fight about what direction we wanted to take our business and I left home. She came to me a few weeks later and we compromised. Since then, we have been inseparable,” says the man, reports the publication Míggog.
The woman admitted that during that time she got drunk and slept with a random man, but assured that she never cheated on him after that.
“Kelly keeps crying and begging for forgiveness. The betrayal disorients me. I told Kelly I need time to work it out and now I’m living in a hotel. I won’t leave my kids – I may not be their father, but I am like their father and I love them very much. Kelly has always been a wonderful wife and a great business partner. I don’t know if I can look at her the same way again, if I’ll ever be the same person again,” says the man.
Eventually, he decided to return to the family home to discuss the situation privately and hear the other side of the story. The couple worked with a family counselor and decided to keep the relationship.
