Man accused of falsifying and selling vaccination cards against COVID-19 arrested

Members of the National Police arrested a man accused of falsifying and commercializing the card that registers the doses applied to citizens of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The man, whose identity was not disclosed, was detained in the Valiente sector, Boca Chica municipality, Santo Domingo province, in coordination with the Public Ministry, according to a press release.

The authorities reported that, in addition, they seized a CPU where the accused had stored the format of the vaccination card, which he sold for 500 pesos.

Regarding the detention, the institution of order recommends that citizens go to vaccination centers and not resort to fraudulent methods.

Likewise, they ask to carry through the “Tupolicia” application the facts that violate the biosecurity measures dictated by the Government in relation to COVID-19.
