A few days ago it was finally hit. A man, eager to remain unknown, found the loot, Fenn tells Santa Fe New Mexican. A photo was sent as proof. How the man found the treasure? In a 24-line poem in his autobiography “The Thrill of the Chase,” Fenn hinted. “I don’t know him, but the poem in my book led him to the right place. The treasure was still where I hid it ten years ago. ”
