A 42-year-old motorist from Geffen drove into a house on Kromstraat in Oss on Friday night. This happened around five o’clock. The motorist has been arrested.
When the emergency services arrived, the residents of the house driven into the house were on the street with small children. As far as is known, no one was injured in the crash.
Right between tree and lamppost
The motorist would have driven the car exactly between a tree and a lamppost, a 112 correspondent said. The car then came to a stop in the living room. “The motorist drove straight on at a T-junction where he had to turn left or right. We arrested him for driving under the influence,” a police spokesperson said.
The fire brigade checked the house, but did not have to prop up anything so far.
comfort bear
Several local residents came out to see the damage with their own eyes.
The children of the residents have been given a so-called comfort bear by the fire brigade to recover from the shock. The children were also allowed to look into the fire truck as a distraction.
