Man (41) jumps from balcony during arrest | Inland

Around 7 a.m., local residents report that a man walked over the roofs of houses on Rodenrijselaan and threw roof tiles. He screamed, smashed things and brandished a sword. As a precaution, the fire brigade placed an inflatable on the street and a police negotiator also came to talk to him.

That did not work and eventually an arrest team had to be involved. The man escaped arrest, climbed over the balcony railing and fell about eight meters. He was treated on the spot, can be seen in images. The National Criminal Investigation Department is investigating what happened.
