Man (30) runs into police in the center of Amsterdam | Inland

Inside the police car were two officers, who were both injured. According to a police spokesperson, the officers were “very shocked” and suffered neck complaints, among other things. There were no drivers on the motorcycles.

The van, which had run into the roadblock, caught fire. When officers tried to get the suspect out, pepper spray was used to arrest him. The suspect was slightly injured.

During the incident, at around 4:25 am, police fired warning shots. According to a police spokesman, the driving into the police car happened seemingly out of nowhere. The motive of the suspect is still unknown.
