Man (22) gets five years in prison for abuse and rape of babysitters | Abroad

The man struck between 2018 and 2019 with young families in the Belgian towns of Zuienkerke, Bruges and Oostkamp. The parents came into contact with the man via an app who managed to abuse seven young children and rape two of them. That reports the Nieuwsblad.

The facts came to light when one of the victims, a girl from Zuienkerke, told her mother in December last year how the babysitter had raped her. The mother immediately went to the police. The 22-year-old did not want to admit anything at first, but eventually made full confessions and came to the conclusion that he would like a ‘ban on babysitting’.

Movies and manual

On the man’s phone, videos were found that he had made of the abuse himself. Parents of two of the victims recognized their own children in the images. Another 10,000 child pornographic photos and more than 500 child pornographic films were found on the computer of the twenties.

In addition to the digital images, researchers also found, to their horror, a downloaded child abuse guide, titled ’How to have sex with very young girls…safely’. The document describes in a very explicit way how the man could perform sexual acts in a ‘safe’ way on very young girls.

In addition to the five-year prison sentence, the man also has to pay compensation of almost 20,000 euros.
