Inspiration comes from big cities and social media
At the beginning it was still unclear exactly which direction the gastronomic concept should take. When the decision was made to have a café, they took inspiration from Instagram and other big cities for a long time. The MaMakers founders are now bringing the atmosphere there to Salzburg. Because young people are increasingly moving away, they want to create an offer: “We always hear that there are few young people in the city. Since we opened, a lot of young people have come by, which makes us very happy. So they probably exist, just “They are likely to be very spread out. That’s why we need places to meet,” explains Reifenstein. They want to be a neighborhood café for the Kaiviertel.
Your café is already well received
So far, Beketova and Reifenstein have received a lot of positive feedback with their concept. There are already customers who have paid another visit. In the future, they could extend their feelers further into the catering industry, as the two new founders reveal: “We can also imagine other locations. But it doesn’t necessarily have to be a café. A to-go spot, for example, would also be an option.”
