Malmö FF were visited by Hammarby on Sunday.
MFF represented a class player and won the match 2–0.
On Sunday, Malmö FF faced Hammarby in a big meeting in the second Allsvenskan round of the year.
Malmö FF went out at a furious pace – and Taha Ali had an early opportunity with his left foot, but shot wide of the mark.
In the 34th minute finally came the golden situation for MFF and Isaac Kiese Thelin, who was freed with Oliver Dovin. The 31-year-old scored 1–0 for the home team.
However, it would not be the end for MFF and Kiese Thelin. Early in the second half, the star striker had a clean sheet at the far post and could easily make it 2-0 for the sky blues.
That was also the final result in the match and Malmö FF have started the season in the best possible way.
MFF faces IFK Värnamo next Sunday. Hammarby will be visited by Elfsborg next Monday.
