Mall of Qatar said it welcomes young people and adults to its entertainment facilities, providing families with a “comfortable place to spend happy times in a safe environment”.
“With the reopening of entertainment facilities, the Mall of Qatar continues its mission of providing destinations that blend shopping and entertainment in a safe, family-friendly environment,” the mall said in a statement.
In accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Public Health and maintaining>, all leisure facilities in the shopping center, including all common equipment and surfaces, have been strictly sterilized and manual sterilizers have been installed around the property.
All visitors should wear masks and gloves in places of entertainment and sterilize themselves after each use. Additionally, signs and digital displays advise visitors on how to spend time safely and encourage them to maintain social distancing while playing.
Visitors entering recreation areas must go through the sterilization gate, after which all children are given small sterilizers for regular use. Some facilities use UV sterilization at night, with dedicated staff standing around the clock to clean machines and tools after each use.
In addition, the establishment’s staff are there to organize the entry of visitors to the site, avoid crowds and ensure a limited number of people of 30% to 50%, the statement said.

Entertainment facilities include Novo Cinemas, which caters to moviegoers with 19 megaplex screens, the largest IMAX with laser screens in the MENA region, and MX4D.
An eight-lane bowling alley accommodates visitors with limited capacity as each ball as well as equipment is sterilized after each use. Gloves must always be worn by the players.
Xtremeland offers visitors of all ages the chance to enjoy exclusive rides and real battlefield action on the latest cutting edge video game machines, while Kidzmondo takes kids on an adventure with over 70 small businesses including including a central arena, station fire, clock tower, police station and hospital theater.
At Caboodle, toddlers and infants can return to their favorite entertainment spot under the professional supervision of staff, while Zoo Rider resumes escorting them around the mall.
