Malkin breaks 9-year NHL personal record for penalty time

The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 4-2 in a home game of the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Rickard Raquell (12th and 15th minutes), Brian Rust (34) and Ryan Pauling (59) scored goals for the hosts, Nicolas Deslauriers (46) and Travis Konecki (58) scored for the guests.

Russian striker “Pittsburgh” Evgeni Malkin was marked by two assists. He has 80 points (25 goals and 55 assists) in 77 games of the current regular season. He ranks third in season scoring among Russians behind Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov (106) and New York Rangers forward Artemy Panarin (87).
