“Malin Åkerman and Petra Mede in combination are nothing but an absolute dream duo,” says Ebba Adielsson, executive producer for the Eurovision song contest 2024 in a press release.
In 2016, Petra Mede and Måns Zelmerlöw hosted Eurovision in Stockholm after Zelmerlöw won the 2015 Eurovision with “Heroes” in 2015.
The duo was voted Eurovision fans’ favorite host of the 10th century by the Eurovision website Wiwibloggs.
Mede has also hosted Eurovision in Malmö 2013 after Loreen’s win in 2012.

“Think about leading Eurovision once more. It’s such an incredible honor. After first leading it alone and then with the lovely Måns Zelmerlöw by my side, I am now very much looking forward to working with Malin,” says Petra Mede in the press release.
