This Copenhagen COVID testing post has been left in tatters by the power of Malik, the storm of water and snow that has crossed the north of Europe this weekend.
100 mph winds
At least four people have died from the effects of winds of more than 160 kilometers per hour, which have hit homes and cars, closed bridges, uprooted trees and left tens of thousands of homes without electricity. United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Germany are some of the affected countries.
Eastern Europe also affected
In Estonia, the emergency services have had to deal with more than a hundred incidents, including traffic accidents or cars trapped in the snow.
The ice turned the roads into skating rinks.
In Poland, firefighters had to intervene in 9,000 emergencies rescuing trapped people.
Tens of thousands of homes have been left without electricity in the Czech Republic or in Scotland, the most affected region of the United Kingdom, shaken by Corrie, a second storm front. The power supply there could take several days to restore.
