Aliou Kone said in a press interview that these contracts were awarded to “patriots,” stressing that the amendment to the country’s petroleum law “gave confidence to investors.”

On the other hand, the Secretary General of the Ministry in charge of Minerals and Energy, Sonsoro Dembele, said that the budget of this office increased from 1.5 billion CFA francs in 2022 to 1.9 billion CFA francs in 2023, which represents a visitation rate of 20.43%.
