On Thursday, the Constitutional Court ruled that the provision allowing abortion in the case of a high probability of severe and irreversible impairment of the fetus or an incurable disease that threatens its life is unconstitutional.
The justification indicated that human life is a value at every stage of development and should be protected by the legislator.

That is why I stay away from politics. It is not and has never been the subject of my interests. However, I cannot but speak on this matter, because I am a mother and I am Polish. I understand that the competences and consciences of the members of the Constitutional Tribunal did not allow them to decide otherwise. They caused the opposition and anger of women who do not agree make sure that someone who legislates decides about the most intimate sphere of their life: giving birth to a terminally ill child or having an abortion “- we read.
