CONAKRY- In recent hours, several Guinean media have announced the departure of young U20 striker Algassimou Bah to Belgium, where he is expected to sign a new contract.
Long courted by several European clubs, the time may have arrived for Algassimou Bah to leave Guinea. Everything suggests that the lines have moved, for the Guinean prodigy to engage with Gantoise, a Belgian club. But, nothing is official yet, says his coach, Maleah Camara, owner of Renaissance FC.
“For the moment there has been no signing, because there is no agreement between the two clubs. We still had discussions, but it was the Ghentoise who sent Algassimou to Dakar for treatment. Things are better for him, and they took the opportunity to get him a visa.
He arrived in Belgium, and normally he must start training in the coming days with the Pro group. But, for the moment, he remains our player, there are principles in football that must be respected, the agreement between the two clubs must endorse the agreement with the player ” specifies the Guinean technician.
Before ending, coach Maleah added that the signing will not take place without a definitive agreement between the two clubs.
