(PLO)- The collision caused a 51-year-old male security guard to have his arm crushed by a truck, critically injured on Provincial Road 15, An Nhon Tay commune, Cu Chi district.
At more than 12 o’clock on November 1, Cu Chi District Police completed processing the scene of an accident between a motorbike and a truck that left one person seriously injured.
Initial information, around 7 a.m. on the same day, people living on Provincial Road 15 passing through An Nhon Tay commune, Cu Chi district heard a loud noise.
Many people ran out to discover the accident between truck 51D – 263.06 and motorbike 59Y2 – 825.03. During this time, the man riding the motorbike was swept up, stuck in the wheel of the truck and pushed many meters down the road.
People in the area shouted and called for help. The driver then backed up, let the victim out, and took him to the hospital with a severed arm and a very deep wound in his chest.
It was noted at the scene that the victim’s motorbike was located about 10 meters from the truck and was slightly damaged. There is water and mud on the road surface.
The victim’s colleague said he was Mr. PMC (51 years old, residing in Cu Chi district). The same morning, after the night shift, Mr. C finished drinking coffee and said he went home and had an accident.
Cu Chi district police then examined the scene and investigated the cause. A resident said that through security cameras, two vehicles were traveling in the same direction.
The man was riding a motorbike to the area when he allegedly fell and was swept under by a truck. However, the image from the security camera is quite blurry so the real cause is unknown.
The accident is currently under investigation.
