Dabas suffered a 28–23 defeat from Balatonfüred in the last round of the men’s handball NB I, but it still remained in the first class because Cegléd also got out of the Veszprém KKFT.

Cegléd could only have overtaken Dabas on the table if he had scored more points in the last round, because if he had the same score, he would be inferior to him. Approaching the last quarter of an hour, Károly Nagy’s team still led by Veszprém KKFT with three goals, but suffered a one-goal defeat, so Dabas retained its leading membership despite the five-goal defeat suffered from Balatonfüred.
From the championship season, only the two matches of the final are left, the first two finishers of the regular season will play in the home of Mol-Pick Szeged on Wednesday from 7 pm, and in the hall of Telekom Veszprém on Saturday from 6.30 pm.
