The French Pauline Roussin-Bouchard took the provisional second place after the first round of the Aramco Team Series in New York. Lucie Malchirand leads the team classification with Team Strom!
With an LPGA at rest this week, LET managed to attract some top players from the US Tour for the third of four stamped events. Aramco Team Series this time in New York. Tournaments in team format with within the Team made up of 4 players the obligation to embark an amateur golfer.
German Sophia Popov has been a regular at the LPGA since her surprising victory in The AIG Women’s Open in 2020. Thursday, on the course of Glen Oaks Club, in Long Island, it is illustrated with a superb 65 (-7) and takes the head of the individual classification.

Roussin-Bouchard and Malchirand with the favorites
6 players share second place three strokes behind the German and among her a French. Indeed Pauline Roussin-Bouchard who will be at the start of Stage II of the LPGA access cards as early as next Monday in Venice, Florida signed a nice 68 (-4) card without the slightest mistake.

Another young and talented French golfer is behind her by a point, it is Lucie Malchirand. The 18-year-old Marseillaise who plays in Team Strom, at the top of the team classification, returned a card of 69 (-3) in this event. She is currently eighth alongside the world number 1 in particular, Nelly Korda.

Astrid Vayson De Pradenne also played under par with a score of 71 (-1). In 19th place, the Frenchwoman is just behind Jessica Korda and Lexi Thompson (-2, 13e).
