– A comedy of errors
To the extent that it is possible to go viral on LinkedIn, Abdullah’s post went viral.
So many people caught on that the bank’s head of customer service, Shaikh Munir Ahmad, signed up in the comments section.
He said he had spoken to Abdullah, and helped her gain access to the account again, writes the Bloomberg news agency.
A spokesperson for the bank is said to have also said that there was nothing wrong with the bank’s systems and that the account was not blocked forever, the agency writes.
But Abdullah herself says the mistake led to a lot of trouble and she is not at all impressed by the bank’s efforts.
– Three days of Maybank errors during the salary payment period is like a comedy of errors that no one finds funny, she wrote in the post.
