MEDIA Malaysia, Makan Bola, announced the preparations Malaysian National Team ahead of going down in the third round of the 2023 Asian Cup Qualification which will take place on 8-14 June 2022. Malaysia national team coach, Kim Pan-gonwants his team to be able to compete with any team.
“We want to plan tactics that will allow us to fight any team with any tactics,” said Kim Pan-gon quoting from Makan Bola, Tuesday (24/5/2022).

“We also want to compete with all teams, regardless of their level, whether it’s high or low,” continued Kim Pan-gon.
It’s just that, Makan Bola sees the Malaysian national team not only being able to compete. Safawi Rasid and his friends are believed to be able to beat any team, which means including the Indonesian national team, the team that defeated the Malaya Tiger squad with a score of 1-4 in the 2020 AFF Cup.

Then on Wednesday 1 June 2022, the Malaysian national team will host Hong Kong. These two matches were held as preparations for the Malaysian national team before going down in the third round of the 2023 Asian Cup Qualification.
The Malaysian national team is trusted by the AFC as the host of the 2023 Asian Cup Qualifying Group C which consists of Turkmenistan, Bahrain and Bangladesh. Only the group winners status and the best five runners-up can qualify Malaysia for the 2023 Asian Cup.
