Indonesian badminton player Jonatan Christie advanced to the quarter-finals of the Denmark Open 2021 after defeating Kanta Tsuneyama.
Playing at Odense Sports, Denmark on Thursday (21/10/21), the 2018 Asian Games champion successfully defeated Kanta Tsuneyama with a convincing score of 21-11 and 21-9.
In record meetings, Jonathan Christie has won 3-0 in their three meetings. They last met in the 2019 New Zealand Open tournament with a score of 21-12, and 21-15.
Jonatan Christie will meet Japan’s men’s singles, Kento Momota in the quarter-finals of the Denmark Open 2020.
Kento Momota impressed late in the heat when competing in the last 16 of the Denmark Open 2021 against the representative of India, Srikanth Kidambi.
Luckily, the world’s number one men’s singles managed to beat Srikanth Kidambi with a score of 23-21, 21-9.
