From women’s doubles, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti will try to hunt for the final ticket to the Malaysia Open 2022. They will face representatives of Korea, Jeong Na Eun/Kim Hye Jeong in the semifinals.
Apriyani/Fadia’s progress at the Malaysia Open 2022 has been quite impressive so far. They reached the semifinals after defeating the Indonesian Open 2022 champions, Nami Matsuyama/Chiharu Shida, and the first seeds, Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan.
Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto will be Indonesia’s hope in the men’s doubles number. They will face the hosts’ representatives, Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin, in the semifinals of the Malaysia Open 2022.
Head to head, Fajar/Rian are 5-1 ahead of Goh/Izzuddin. At the last meeting in the first round of the Indonesia Open 2022, Fajar/Rian won 21-19, 21-14 over the world number 14 men’s doubles.
