Saut managed to advance to the quarter-finals after defeating Malaysian representative Lee Shun Yang, who is seeded fourth.
While finding a representative was not easy, Saut managed to block the win rubber game finals 14-21, 21-16, 21-15.
In the release of the PBSI Public Relations and Media Team, Saut said he was happy because he beat older and even more experienced players.
“Thank God, of course, I am very grateful and happy for this win, because he is also ranked above me and is even older,” said Saut.
“Previously the match was also fierce and tense. But I really enjoyed the game,” continued the 19-year-old player.
Saut explained that the key to his victory today could not be separated from his composure and success in implementing the strategy.
