Dubai: A Malayali living in Dubai won a prize of over eight crore rupees ($10 lakh) in the Dubai Duty Free’s Millennium Millionaire Series 407 draw. Jayakrishnan (46) was the one who got lucky.
On November 8, Jayakrishnan bought his ticket from Dubai airport on his way to London with his wife and two children. He, who works as operations manager for IntegralTech Networks LLC in Deira, said he regularly participates in Dubai Duty Free promotions and this is the first time he has won the award.
The Millennium Millionaire draw was followed by the Finest Surprise draw for two luxury vehicles. Rainer Bothern from Germany won the Finest Surprise luxury car Mercedes-Benz G63 (Travertine Beige Metallic) which he bought online on November 11th. Vitaly Kari, a 43-year-old Russian citizen who works in Dubai, also won a BMW R9T Pure (Granite Grey) luxury motorbike via an online ticket purchased on 14 November.
