Dubai: A speech competition is being organized in Dubai to promote the art of Malayalam speech. The competition is organized by the Malayalam Club under the Lokamalayam Toast Masters. The UAE-level speech competition will be held on Sunday from 1.30 pm to 8.30 pm at the Dubai Manqul Public Library Hall.
Officials informed that the competition will be in the categories of mock speech, live speech, review competition and international speech competition in which non-toast masters participate. There will be eight contestants in the first three categories. There will be 15 people in the international speech competition.
There will also be Malayalam speech competitions in the countries of America, India, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
All competitions will be completed by May this year. The finals will be organized in Kerala with the participation of the first and second placers from eight countries.
