Jose C. Kappan In the murder case Siju was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Karnataka High Court. But he went into hiding. Subsequently, Sajith J. Jose C. Kappan, a resident of Sagar Kerodi in Shimoga district, went missing in December 2011. Police arrested Siju, a plantation worker, in connection with the incident. The investigation found that Jose was killed to cover the compost pit to rob the property. However, the trial court acquitted him due to lack of evidence.

Jose’s Sons Investigator A.C.P. SD approached the High Court with the help of Sharanappa. In March 2020, the High Court found Siju guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment. But before sentencing, the accused went into hiding.
Following the Kovid expansion, the Karnataka police could not find the culprit. With this, Jose’s children went in search of the accused. It is learned that Shiju, a native of Ommala, lives in Kakuppadi. The Karnataka police was informed about this. The Karnataka police reached Palakkad on Friday.
