Riyadh: Expatriate Malayali stabbed to death in Saudi. The deceased is Muhammadali (58), a private company employee in Jubail and a native of Malappuram Cherukara Kattupara. Later, Mahesh, a native of Tamil Nadu, who attacked Muhammadali, tried to commit suicide. The incident took place at their residence on Sunday afternoon.
Mahesh stabbed Mohammadali while she was sleeping. The injured Mohammadali bled and collapsed and died. Later, Mahesh attempted suicide by slitting his throat. He was admitted to the hospital.
According to the police, Mahesh had been suffering from depression for a week. Mahesh also told the police that he tried to commit suicide because of the guilt of killing Mohammadali. Muhammad Ali’s wife is Tahira. Proceedings regarding the dead body are in progress.
