Madrid, Oct 14. 21. AmecoPress. – On the occasion of the celebration of World Breast Cancer Day, the Malasmadres Club has launched a new collection called Malamadre Power. The collection of the collection, consisting of two models of T-shirts, two scarves and two bags, will go to the project ‘Breast cancer and the desire to be a mother’ of GEICAM, which will give advice to all women who face the disease during pregnancy, breastfeeding, the first year after childbirth or those who must postpone motherhood for the same reason.

The campaign stars Laura Cortés, 38, mother of a girl and secondary school teacher. In it, she recounts her experience since the diagnosis of the disease, the fear during the process and the strength she extracted from motherhood thanks to her daughter Valentina.

“The days that followed my first chemo session, I remember today as one of the hardest experiences of my life. I came to feel that I was borderline bearable and felt more vulnerable than ever. The suffering was such that I considered abandoning myself and letting chance choose my destiny ”, explains Laura Cortés. “Valentina, with her only 6 years, her innocence and her unconditional love, became the real reason why I decided to choose the path of improvement. In the worst moments, when I felt that I couldn’t take it anymore, I visualized his smile and that became the engine of my strength ”, he recounted in the testimony that the Malasmadres Club will share on its blog.

In Spain alone, more than 33,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed each year and it is becoming more and more common among women under 45 years of age, this being the leading cause of death among women between 35 and 45 years of age. Bad mothers. “The study will help consolidate important data to improve the clinical needs of patients, the success of fertility preservation techniques, treatment strategies during pregnancy and the way in which this situation affects the development of the fetus and the baby’s health, ”he adds.
