The Malaga province maintains the downward trend in hospitalization data, which this Friday fell in eight cases compared to last day, to currently stand at 275 people admitted, of which 33 – four less – are in the Care Unit Intensive (ICU). On the contrary, the number of deaths increases with five people.
According to the data of the Ministry of Health and Families of the Junta de Andalucía, 210 new infections detected by PDIA (PCR and rapid antigen testing) have been registered in the last 24 hours, which raises the accumulated to 34,643 positives since the start of the pandemic. The accumulated data also reflect 3,760 hospitalized people, of which 328 have passed through the ICU.
The total of people cured continues to increase after accumulating 250 more this day, reaching a total of 26,104 people who have suffered the disease. The accumulated of deaths in the province has added five people, which means 697 deaths from coronavirus.
This Friday, the Ministry announced the current situation of educational centers in the province of Malaga, where there is only a complete closure of a total of 1,209 centers, which is 0.08 percent. In relation to the partial closure of classrooms, there are 30 on temporary suspension (0.21 percent) out of a total of, while the reopening of 22 has occurred.
