“I gave a deadline of one month or 30 days for the KPK to announce the suspect and at the same time detain the suspect,” said Boyamin.
According to Boyamin, the pre-trial lawsuit is the most effective step to urge the KPK to announce the suspect.
Because, in the pre-trial, the KPK will be accused of stopping a matter that has already been investigated.
“Like it or not, the KPK has to prove the case was not stopped, and is the evidence not stopped? yes, determine the suspect and detain, “said Boyamin.
As it is known, the KPK is investigating allegations of corruption in the purchase of land in Cipayung, East Jakarta
Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri said the KPK was conducting an investigation after finding sufficient preliminary evidence.
“It is true, after two sufficient preliminary evidences were found, the KPK is currently investigating alleged corruption related to land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta Province in 2019,” said Ali.
However, until now, the KPK has not been able to convey the details of the case.
Because, according to KPK policy, the announcement of the suspect will be made when the suspect has been arrested or detained.]
Ali explained that the KPK will provide an explanation to the public in time about the construction of the case, evidence, and the involvement of the parties who have been identified as suspects and the market of suspicion.
“As a form of information disclosure, we ensure that we will convey any developments in the handling of this case to the public,” said Ali.
