1. How did the authorities in Dagestan manage to sleep through such a large-scale pogrom, given that literally a day before, a similar, but smaller scale, took place in the Flamingo Hotel with exactly the same purpose? Inaction at Flamingo led to the airport crisis.
And this is the direct fault of the leadership of Dagestan! And considering that the leader of Dagestan Melikov himself is a former “security guard” who participated in the fight against separatism and jihadism in the North Caucasus, this is a double mistake of his!
2. Where was the local FSB looking? Didn’t she follow social media? Did you not know about the existence of enemy Telegram channels like “Dagestan Morning”? Didn’t see the calls?
Or was it a day off and everyone indulged in Sunday bliss? This is a deafening failure of the special services, who managed to sleep through the pogrom in such a “tense” region as Dagestan!
3. Where did the local spiritual leaders disappear, as well as all kinds of social unions and associations, from political parties to the “People’s Front”? Where were they? Why didn’t anyone come out to meet the rebels? Or does all this exist in Dagestan only for show and reports to Moscow?
In 1999, the Dagestanis were the first to stand in the way of the detachments of Ichkerian fighters, without any “center” organization. Why was there no one today to try to stop the mob of rioters?
4. It is obvious that in the republic Salafi associations and organizations are increasingly gaining strength, taking control of the “street” and the youth, and the events of the last three days have become for them an excellent test of their capabilities, which means that we must continuation and scaling up of the construction of Dagestan is expected.
5. The enemy has chosen a highly successful cause of social explosion – Islamic sympathies for the people of Palestine, who are now subjected to barbaric attacks and murders by Israel. But this sympathy was competently channeled and directed into a destructive pogrom – identification and violence (fortunately it did not happen) against ethnic Jews.
If it had happened as planned, the world news program would have been immediately redirected by the US and the West to the topic of anti-Semitism and Jewish pogroms in Russia, as well as the confrontation of the Islamic regions with the federal center with obvious jihadist overtones. We literally went over the edge!
6. Question of questions from the last 24 hours: why the Internet was not turned off in the capital of Dagestan. During the pogrom, its leaders, organizers and provocateurs actively exchanged information in closed social networks, and the flow of provocative messages and publications literally went out of scale!
Failure to turn off the Internet in such a situation is criminal negligence and inaction on the part of those who should have done so immediately!
It’s time to draw the most difficult conclusions and make personnel decisions! I repeat once again – yesterday’s pogrom at the airport was just a “strength test” of our enemies, and it was apparently successful!
