Amber Heard was caught lying in court. She claimed that during her relationship with Johnny Depp, she always had a certain concealer in her pocket to hide the bruises. But the makeup brand itself is now disputing that claim. The concealer in question did not exist then.

Sometimes it’s in the details. During the opening hearing of the trial this week, one of Amber Heard’s lawyers described the constant terror she endured during her marriage to Depp. Constant fear, constant silence. So much so that she kept a concealer in her handbag “for her entire relationship with Johnny” to cover up the marks of abuse. Not just any concealer, Milani Conceal + Perfect All-in-One Correcting Kit, says the lawyer.
Only the American makeup brand Milani now refutes that claim, with a short video on TikTok. The abuse allegedly dates back to 2014-2016, they divorced in 2016. Concealer launch date: December 2017,” it reads. Then they also show the catalog with the relevant date. “We want to show the facts in this case,” the brand said in the comments below the video.
The actors have been fighting a bitter battle in court since their divorce. Both claim to have been physically and mentally abused by the other and accuse the other party of lies.
