I have a question about my YouTube channel. Me and my buddy have been uploading videos for about 6 months now with a lot of effort and effort. It’s gaming mixed with comedy.
In any case, we got quite a boost after the 5th video. One video got over 2000 clicks and the next even 7000 (that’s a lot for us who just started a channel)
But then from the next video onwards the clicks decreased by 50%. The next video had 900 then 450, then 200, then 90 and our last only 27 and we uploaded it 3 days ago.
We get fewer clicks than with our first videos, even though we put 12 hours of editing into each new video and the videos only last 6 to 7 minutes. We also now have a much better camera and microphone (Sony Alpha ||| and Shure SM7B). Plus, the videos are absolutely entertaining and so much effort goes into each video that we just don’t get it (and we don’t mean that because we have such big egos).
I scoured YouTube and other channels that get as few clicks as we do (i.e. 27 clicks after 3 days), make absolutely no effort, have no facecam, no editing, no good quality, audio, etc. etc. etc.
That’s why we’ve really lost motivation, because every video makes us better than the last and the clicks keep going down. When you produce such high quality videos and it’s suggested to so few people, we wonder if YT is shadowbanning us for some reason? I mean, why at all? They can simply write us an email if we’ve done something wrong.
PS we currently have 533 subscribers and btw it’s really not the videos, we had the clicks and watchtime, Ctr etc. Everything is very stable. Just no more impressions since the video with 7000 clicks
And we can’t contact support either, that’s only possible if you’re in the Yt partner program (1000 subscriptions and 4000 hours of playback time)
Please only answer if you really have an idea. Estimates made from heaven are of no use to us.
