Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Recently, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un appeared before the public during the Youth Day commemoration event in Pyongyang, North Korea, last August 31. Kim Jong Un was present to greet North Korean students amid deteriorating health issues.
In the photo taken by the Korean News Agency/Korea News Service to the AP, Kim Jong Un is seen wearing a white shirt. It was also seen that the students were hysterical in welcoming him.

The 37-year-old leader wore a white shirt. The shirt looks loose on Kim Jong Un’s body. Whereas before, the shirt he wore always looked tight on the body, especially in the stomach area. Kim Jong Un’s neck and upper chest area are now visible when he wears the collared shirt.
Rumors about Kim Jong Un’s deteriorating health are still rolling today. The rumors became even more widespread after photos emerged earlier this year showing the dramatic transformation of Kim Jong Un, who is said to have lost around 44 pounds.
To suppress the rumors, the North Korean government banned gossip about Kim Jong Un’s weight. The North Korean government says Kim Jong Un does eat less “for the sake of the country”. North Korea is currently grappling with the issue of hunger.
According to an analysis of North Korean activity monitoring website 38 North, Kim is suspected of having managed to lose weight with medication or gastric surgery. He is also suspected of deliberately losing weight to maintain health in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Amid rumors of Kim Jong-Un’s deteriorating health, North Korea is reportedly looking for a successor to its leader. It is a senior Labor Party official, Jo Yong-Won who was recently promoted to deputy leadership, who is said to be lined up to seek a successor to Kim Jong-Un.
