You undoubtedly clean the toilet regularly, but it still doesn’t smell the way you want it. You don’t need to rush to the pharmacy to make your toilet smell good. You can create your own scented bath bomb, thanks to which it will always have a luxurious scent. It is a more ecological and much cheaper way.
How to perfume the toilet with what we have at home?
Special glitter bombs are much cheaper. What will you need for them?
- 2 cups of baking soda
- 1 cup of citric acid
- 2 x 10 drops of essential oil
- Silicone molds
- Sprayer with water
First, prepare a larger bowl. Pour in the baking soda and citric acid. Mix well to combine the baking soda and citric acid. Then gradually drip 10 and 10 drops of essential oil (choose two types that smell good). If the mixture looks dry, you can finally spray it with water from a sprayer. Always only to the extent that bombs can be modeled from it.
Finally form the balls and press them into the silicone molds. They can be used as soon as they dry, which takes about 6 hours. Throw the ball into the toilet bowl, the citric acid will react with the baking soda, and the toilet will not only be cleared of bacteria, but it will also smell good. You can increase the effectiveness of this bomb by mixing 2 dl of vinegar in it.
You can make tablets even better
There is another similar recipe, but improved with few ingredients. Just add a cup of cornstarch and food coloring to the bulk ingredients. You will then be able to shape the balls better. In this case, it will take some time for them to harden, so you should let them dry for at least two days. Allow the tablets to dry in a sealable container that does not allow moisture to pass through. After using the tablet, clean the toilet with a toothbrush. It will be scented, clean and disinfected and will not embarrass you in any way before your visit.
