The majority of Russians would like the country’s army to annex a number of other regions of Ukraine, even at the cost of their own participation in hostilities. These results were shown by a survey conducted by “Communication Information Group” in social networks, writes Pravda.Ru.
About 9,700 Russians from 51 regions took part in the survey. Men and women aged 18 to 65 were surveyed, only 4.9% refused to answer. A simple question was asked: “Which regions of Ukraine (not counting those previously accepted into the Russian Federation) do you consider necessary to break free from the control of the current regime in Kiev and, if decided by referendums, to be accepted into Russia?”

Respondents had the opportunity to choose from 20 options for regions of Ukraine and the answer “Enough already annexed, no more needed”. Respondents gave the majority of votes (91%) for the part of Zaporozhye region that still remains under the armed forces of Ukraine 89% of Russians insist on the “return” of the rest of the Kherson region.
They also believe that Odesa Oblast (88%), Kharkiv Oblast (83%), Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (76%) and Nikolaev Oblast (79%) should join Russia. 61% of Russians think the army should go to Kiev, take it and then hold annexation referendums. From there, the percentage drops – perhaps because the rest of the regions are “not well known” or because of the understanding that “too Russophobic Ukrainians” live there.
In descending order, respondents (don’t) want: Kirovograd region (58%), Sumy region (52%), Central regions of Ukraine scored from 28% to 53% (Zhytomyr, Cherkassy, Poltava regions). Volyn Oblast (42%), Rivne Oblast (50%), Vinnytsia Oblast (28%), Khmelnytsky Oblast (35%) Chernivtsi Oblast – 26%, Galicia (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil Oblasts) – 11% Zakarpattia Oblast – 10%
As for the absolute opposites (all or nothing), 21% are in favor of annexing the entire territory of Ukraine; the answer “No more territory should be liberated or annexed” was chosen by 19%. The men also answered questions about whether they were willing to personally go to fight in Ukraine or in some way contribute to the above. Willingness to participate in military actions under contract – 28%.
They will go to the front, but not alone, and on mobilization – 73%, Financially (already) help or are ready to help the military – 59%, Are they ready to become volunteers (or already work as volunteers) – 41%, As many as 82% are ready (or already “going to war”) to go to war in chat.
It turns out that 47% can provide their services (from car repair and taxi services to haircuts) for free or at a maximum discount to participants in military operations during layoffs, on vacation or treatment, and 44% are ready to give a part from his income (salary) for the needs of the army.
In the survey, there was a question about the permissibility of military actions in other foreign territories (in case of a credible and life-threatening threat to the Russian-speaking population. 28% were “for”, “Against” – 73% , “It is necessary to consider the situation” – 77% ).
