Summer is scheduled to officially end next month, with fall approaching, but the warm, sunny weather looks set to continue.
August has been disappointing weather with some rainy days in between sunny days.
But meteorology experts predict a UK heat wave could be seen in September, Birmingham Live reports.

John Hammond of Weathertrending and formerly of the BBC and Met Office said: “Many of us can wait a long time, so don’t put your garden furniture away just yet.
The afternoon of the summer sun is on the menu. It will be late summer at its best, with a sunnier ending to a dull August.
“The mid-20s is possible in the middle of the week, with the good weather that will last the weekend and a few more days in September for most. “
A BBC spokesperson said: “High blood pressure is more likely to continue through the holiday weekend and the first week of September before gradually subsiding.
“This means that the first days of autumn will tend to keep things largely dry across the UK with some heat in the western and northern areas.
With high pressure to our northwest, a cooler east wind in the North Sea and the southern half of the UK will keep temperatures slightly below average there.
“Towards the first weekend of September, there are some signs that the low pressure may begin to press as the height begins to weaken and move north. However, confidence at the exact moment is a little low and this it could take until the following week. “
