A major fire in a warehouse on the Vinkenweg in Rijnsburg may release asbestos. The fire brigade and the Hollands Midden Safety Region warn about this.
From 7 a.m. the fire brigade is working with a lot of people and equipment to fight the flames and calls on people to stay away from the smoke. The adjacent campsite has been evacuated. People are accommodated in the main building.
At 9.15 am the fire brigade gave the signal ‘fire master’. This means that the fire is under control and extinguishing has started. There is still a lot of smoke at that time.
